In June, 2011 Handy Concepts Art Gallery teamed up with Judy Mohr, owner of the Artist Market of Pomfret Street in Carlisle PA., and relocated to the lower level at 150 Country Club Road, Red Lion, 17356. The two galleries are collaborating to offer more exposure for our artists and a greater variety of art for our clientele.

A free workshop - Introduction to Art Media - will be held at the gallery on Saturday, July 30, 2011. Are you interested in an art class but don't really know exactly what medium you want to work with? Do you like acrylics but wonder what oil feels like? Ever wanted to dabble in watercolors? Before you spend lots of money on paint and materials that you are unfamiliar with only to find out later that you don't like them, come to our workshop and practice before you commit. On May 23, 2011 Handy Concepts Art Gallery has teamed up with Dave Briggs, owner of Kerry's Green (formerly the Red Lion Country Club), and relocated to the lower level at 150 Country Club Road, Red Lion, 17356. We look forward to continuing to showcase great original art from our local artists in this new venue.

Snapshots - A Photography Contest.
Congratulations to our winners! Ms. Susan Heiges is the talented photographer whose photo of the Codorus Hotel (in York) reflected in water won the most votes by our gallery visitors. Susan took home a crisp $100.00 bill. Also, congrats to the lucky voter who is now enjoying that beautiful photo in her home. A special honorable mention to our very close runner up Ms. Tiffiany Uzarski and many thanks to all the other photographers who participated. Thank you all for stopping in and voting.
